Firing the coach is usually management's way of covering themselves anyway and letting someone else take the fall for them, but this is especially true here. They couldn't make changes to the blue line in the offseason because of the Cap, so now they have to blame it on the coach. The team is just not constructed to win in 2022. They rely too heavily on goaltending and if Demko isn't top 3 in the league, they're in trouble. They're built like it's the 1980s. Even for the 80s, that defence is shallow. Bruce has been trying to play to the Canucks' strengths, which is the only thing they can do. Nothing is different from last season under Bruce, except that Demko isn't a wall, which means all the glaring mistakes and the 3rd period meltdowns are more apparent. That hasn't changed from last year. Sure, they're more fragile, but that's because they're losing games that Demko stole last year. They didn't deserve to win those games last season. The problem is that they expend so much energy in the first 2 periods that they're spent by the 3rd and can't withstand the other team's counterattack.

Miller is a cancer why in the he'll they resigned him is beyond me, I hated the trade for him and despise the resign, allvin and Rutherford are more inept than Benning just look at the 1st round pick 😩
Maybe if we didn't have OEL and stillman as defense even Myers hasn't been bad but oel is just horrible but again not sure how it's Bruce's fault
