Benning has done a decent job building the roster imo.
Green has done a terrible job of systems and not adapting to the fact every team in the league knows how to counter his system by now.
We need a coaching staff that is experienced and Francesco needs to stop going for rookie management and coaches out of the AHL.
This start has been nothing short of an embarrassment.

As an Avs fan watching Hughes take a stupid penalty that gave Makar a chance to score shows me that Hughes is so frustrated. I know that team is better than that, something is going on in Vancouver.
Than to hear Benning is calling other GM's for players on waivers.
Unfortunately they have no cap space…Not in a great place.

Francesco Aquilini is a 2nd Generation trust fund baby who thinks he’s a hockey guy when really the only reason he owns the team is because his family didn’t want him to fuck up the actual Family business.

Aqualini needs to leave the team to Jim and to not speak up and let Benning and Green take all the heat is typical of Aqualinis in Vancouver.
I feel like the room isn’t balanced, too many kids, and the older guys don’t have the strength of leadership the team needs, Green is a two way coach, and no one is buying in. I don’t know if he’s lost the room, but he definitely hasn’t tried to send any kind of message, he need to scratch Boeser, who in my opinion has the biggest attitude and influence in that room, unfortunately, probably just another Kessler, great talent, but can’t handle being in a Canadian market.
