The TOI distribution last night on a back to back was awful. Gallant continues to hold this team back.
I usually agree with Vally 99% of the time but Halak let in two stinkers and the Rangers hit 6 posts and Gibson managed to stop everything. Imagine if Halak only let in one stinker and the Rangers managed to score on 2 of the 6 posts your looking at a 4-2 win. I think the Rangers played good enough to win they got what I like to call goalied. I always say you can have a whole team of Connor Mcdavid but if your going up against a hot goalie who’s not letting anything in your still gonna lose no matter how well you play. Shesty does that to teams all the time it’s part of the game. Unfortunately the Rangers puck luck has not been in their favor this season.
John Gibson plays the same style as Dominic Haschak in goal.. Steve Valiquette is a tool for even criticizing Gibson's stile of goal tending. Halak's confidences is shot and he looks rusty and lets in too many soft goals. The Rangers need to send Halak to the minors for conditioning and bring someone up from the minors to backup #31.
