  1. Jesse P reminds me a lot of monahan similar problem children who don’t produce for their teams and make a lot of mistakes on ice lol

  2. Ppl will regret turning on pulju next thing we will all know is he’l score an overtime winner on oilers.

  3. It's been said …"If you put ~Yamamoto's brain and heart into Jesse's body you would have another Superstar."…haha….I somewhat agree.. I like Jesse….He brings a lot to the table. He is big, fast skater, has a good shot, the team and city like him…….So what's the problem? When they drafted him he was highly regarded by scouts everywhere. "A physical specimen with all the tools to be a great power forward."…..And maybe that will still happen…..BUT…..not with the Oilers. He is, how shall I word this delicately, not exactly a "cerebral player."…Now I am not suggesting he is not an intelligent young man. Or think that just because he STILL struggles with English while other European players younger than him speak English so well they barely have accents, that he isn't….It's just….Well…..He kind of looks lost in the top 6. Not the first guy for that to happen to. Not everyone can play with McDavid, just ask Lucic. But it extends to Draisaitl, Hyman, Nuge, Kane, also. He is simply out of position. When he gets the puck he seems reluctant to make a choice, without it he seems unsure where to be. What really hammers that point home is when guys like Yamamoto or MacLeod get put in the top 6 they look much better. Those 2 do not have nearly the physical gifts Jesse has, yet they out perform him? When those 2 get put on the 3rd line, they try to make the 3rd line "as good as the other lines." When Jesse gets put on the 3rd line, he seems disinterested. Cut his minutes more, or bench him and he sulks….So there you have it. A high first rounder that does not look like a top 6 (on the Oilers)….and doesn't want to be a bottom 6. On top of that, the only other guy that spoke Finnish on the team Mikko Koskinen will be gone. A change to a team where he has other Finnish players and does not have "High 1st Round Pick" looming over his head may be the best for him and his career…..Trade him. Not out of desperation or malice. Get a s good return as they can. Don't rush it. But it would probably be the best for Jesse and the team. You will be missed Bison King. Good luck.

  4. Honestly he is a really good 2 way forward the only problem is if he's not producing and is moved to the 3rd line he loses confidence. If he was just comfortable as a 3rd line guy he could be one of the best 3rd line forwards in the NHL.

  5. If Jesse is not demanding too much money, why give up on him? Just put him on the 3rd line and let him prove himself.

  6. If I was kent hughes i would offer Jake Allen for him with Primeau who's stepping up in the playoff and the need in goalie for Edmonton why not maybe not 1v1

  7. Yamo or Puljujarvi isn't even a conversation. That's not even a thing…Yamo is a great hockey player and is sticking with the team. Puljujarvi seems lost and will likely find a job elsewhere

  8. Ken Holland probably wants to trade him for another Duncan Kieth at this point.

  9. The thing that worries me the most is that we give up on him and turns out to be a star on another team we see it all the time but he probably needs a fresh start somewhere else

  10. Puljujarvi is probably gonna sign a 2yr extension with $3.5M a season maybe

  11. I'm not much of an Oiler fan , but he's a good 2 way player put him on the right team and he will excel!!

  12. JP and Kappo are very similar lack of foot speed and not making up for it by posing the puck by winning the puck along the boards anybody that plays with McDavid and doesn’t put up 70 points at minimum is just not trying hard enough to compensate for his lack of speed and thinks he is above it all so glad the NYR never traded for this guy

  13. As a ducks fan, I’ll trade Gibson for the guy plus a 1st and a second rounder.

  14. A heavy analytic team will get him for cheap and he’ll finally pop while putting up elite defensive numbers. Meet me back here next year when he scores 20goals.

  15. Trade Jesse to the Jets for their late 1st round pick (was Rangers pick). Then sign him to a 3 year deal, at around 3 mill per season – 3X3.

  16. Puljujarvi is a decent two way forward who hasn't lived up to his 4th overall status. He avoids hitting, makes dumb passes, and doesn't have that good of a offensive Hockey IQ. His stick is also too long, he can't make moves in tight. He isn't a lost cause yet, but his time here is done in Edmonton, good luck wherever you're traded, Bison King.

  17. He was passed over by Finnish GM Jarmo Kekalainen. It seems like I'm the only one who thought that MAYBE Mr. Kekalainen was privy to something about Pulijujarvi's psychological profile that the rest of the GM's were not…and STOP COMPARING HIM TO KAILER YAMAMOTO! THERE'S NO COMPARISON! Yamamoto is going to play a huge role in Edmonton's next Stanley Cup.
GET RID OF THIS GUY and get a grinder in return.
