i was there crazy game soda allover the ice fans went crazy when the devils lost there streak but just an awesome game.
I was at the game. The atmosphere was just so intense and the pot was boiling and it was bound to spill over after that third goal. I’ve been to plenty of playoff games , this was the most intense of them all
Was at the game and it was something. A Maple Leaf fan here and glad that the right calls were made. 😂 Leafs have been sc*** so many times with calls that have not gone their way. The hockey gods were looking down on the Devils laughing after their 13 game run. You failed to mention the refs call after the first goal. “The call on the ice stands. We have a good goal. No, we have no goal” it was classic.
Also the goaltending was spectacular on both sides. Great game to be at and sorry the win streak ended with great controversy. Never seem three goals called back before.

First goal should have been a goal as the goalie was able to reset and had a full range a motion but the refs had it out on the devils more on that later the second goal should have counted and if the devils missed it should have been a interference penalty on murrary as tatar continued in the same line of travel and murrary got in his way thrid goal ok fine warroom got that one right now on to these refs they missed 2 blatant holds a very blatant sucker punch an elbow to the face and several trips and the league should review this game and take action against them it was very clear from puck drop that they were favoring the leafs
Based on what you showed of the three called off goals, the refs made the right calls. To say the refs were not helping is garbage and speaks to your (lack of) knowledge of the game and disrespect for the refs. The refs are not there the help any team. They are there to make sure the rules are followed. I am so tired of this attitude of people today where they think it is ok to disrespect any one in a position of authority. If the refs made a bad call, of course they should be called out for that, but just because they make a call you don’t like does not make it a bad call. You should be commending the refs for make the CORRECT CALL and not bowing the fan pressure to make the WRONG CALL.

The puck goes in to Murrays left. During the play, you can see him trying to set up forther to his left, but the Devils player is in his way. Under the rules, no opposing player can hinder a goalies motion in the crease….. I don't understand why people struggle so much with this rule…. including Refs.

i was there i am a leafs fan but the 1 goal did not count the 2 goal nope but the 3 goal i would say yes because it hit the leafs guy befor it when in so it is a goal

I was at the game last night. I thought it was bs that the call on the ice was no goal on the first one. I thought it could have gone either way but I was still upset. The Devils have had at least 7 or 8 goals get called back this year. The place got super loud after Hamilton scored. If they had tied the game the roof might have come off.
Bettman said to the refs: "Put an end to this."
The fix was in against the Devils and the Bruins. It's obvious.
The first and third goal definitely should not have been disallowed. I think the refs threw it because of gambling. The third goal was especially obvious. Nevermind the fact the leafs goalie took the net off on purpose.
Please , first team every to have 3 goals called off. The first and second goals should of counted, third one no. There have been goals against devils that counted and were same as the first 2. As a ref you don’t want to determine the outcome of the game, but the refs got the Leafs the win. It is terrible to end a streak by refs blowing 2 calls.
As a Devils fan, that was a roller coaster of a game, the ups and downs. Unfortunately, didn't get to witness Devils franchise history but as mentioned in the comments witnessed a "No Goal Hat Trick"
It was extremely hilarious, although I understand Devil's fans not seeing it as funny (especially during the game). We expected the Leafs to win that one down another defenseman, facing perhaps the best team in the league, and the Devils were on a 13 game win streak. It would be Leafy to win that game. And the Leafs are always Leafy. Honestly if the devils did score another goal this would have been the one time the Leafs won an overtime.
Hard to blame the ref's for this, they all seem like legitimate calls.
When you show the one that should have been a goal and say it wasnt 😂 Murray was out of the crease its not hard to figure out maybe he shouldnt have been out of position but luckily the refs got his back
Puck would've never touched Robertson's skate and gone in the net if Haula never kicked the puck. This isn't soccer, this is the right call.
These refs are simply too involved in the game. Last night during the Bruins Panthers game there were 15 penalties called. For those keeping track that’s more than half the 60 minute game being played on special teams. And a good 80% of the penalties were just invisible calls on both sides. Seems like the new crop of NHL refs is taking “game management” to new levels. And I’m talking in general here this is not in response to this game per se
Refereeing is trash. On the first goal, the puck goes off a skate. Murray is not saving that even if there is no skate contact.
On the third goal, the player kicked in a trajectory AWAY from goal, meaning, without a deflection, that puck is never going into the net. It’s the same thing as a player kicking the puck AWAY from net to a teammate as a pass for a shot. Kick away from goal that get deflected by the defender(s) into their own net should absolutely be goals.

Jersey dominated? Did you watch the game??? They were pressing in the 3rd but leafs carried the pace despite having 4 of their top 6 d men in the press box. Hell Mathews isn’t even on a tear yet but they found a way.
