I was waiting for this. It was inevitable it wasn't going be all losing. If we lose tomorrow I will only be sad because it's a big night. Lots of people are going to tune in just to see them in the goathead. Buffalo's eyes are on them.

The boys had everything going in. I liked that the jost game, the hit from him that started the fight was the best in the game. I really wanted Powers to score as he had a couple really good chances. Great to see Samuelson back. How badly hurt is Okposo? I expected he was only going to miss 1 game.

Good to see JJ was able to stay in the game after getting his face used as a punching bag by Ghule. Those shots were hard JJ had no idea how to block. Sabres have to get someone who can can answer the bell and scare other teams away from taking advantage like Ghule did tonight.

Skinner, Tuch and Thompson are on fire, the D is back to good, all 3 rookies look good. By the trade deadline, I'd be looking to package Mittlestadt and Oloffson in a trade. Mitts is a light weight on skates, and Ollie is too one dimensional. Both players would be better served on different teams…

When Montreal scored at 3-0 I thought "oh, oh". I think Anderson would want both goals back. Impressive breakout after the slump, but I'm cautious. Montreal are fun to watch but no one projected them to do anything this year. Be nice for the GOAT to be a winning Jersey again. Unlike the horrid butter knives retro which was statistically awful! Good win though, glad they broke the who do. Time to have a streak trending upward now. 😋
Finally! We have allowed 3 or more goals every game that Sammy was out. First game back only 2… surely not a coincidence.
That was awesome to watch. We actually played pretty decent defense! The Habs were making good plays but we were taking away their passing and shooting lanes. I hope we can build on that minus all the stupid penalties we took.
We finally blew out Montreal. When was the last time this happened? It’s always 3-2 with them. The other forwards are finding ways to attack the net. You can tell the team studied film and practiced good.

Tuch has played 19 games and has 10 goals, his contract is 4.75 million….Eichel played 20 games has 10 goals makes 10 million…it’s called getting more for your money! One guy was bad for the team in locker room and other is excited to play for the Sabres.

Samuelson being back was huge, much more than I would have anticipated. And Jost is a nice addition, had an impact, brought some anger. Maybe this 8 game losing streak doesn't sink the season, I still have hope. I'd still like to see a couple moves, as in moving the slackers like Mittelstadt. Great to see Jokiharju get one, if anyone needed a confidence boost it was him.
Samuelsson return proving to be huge, he’s one of the most important pieces of this team, and it seems all the core pieces such as Thompson, tuch, dahlin, samuelsson, skinner, cozens, Quinn, and Peterka all been playing well. Get rid of olofsson and mittlestaft and Bryson already please
