Good article on where Shane is and why the Kraken are handling his development the way they are. Hoping he does get to go to Juniors after his AHL stint. He has 3 goals in two games there so far!
i watched both firebirds vs wranglers games. he scored three goals across two games. definitely looked good out there. he has an incredible shot.
Shane will be fine. In the interview with Francis he recounted telling Shane that no players, on both benches during a recent game, played in the league at 18. If the Kraken were losing and had no chance to get into the playoffs then you play him. That’s not the case right now. Hakstol has a good team with fourth line guys playing really well. They can afford to let Shane develop elsewhere.
