    3 pts in 20G at 4.82, I ain’t gonna mind

Quite happy he didn’t return that call

KK gets paid, Habs avoid another boat anchor contract and Canes get fucked. A rare off ice hat trick.

How do yall feel KK would progress with Marty and Nichols? It would have been interesting to see Imo. The long term deal is bad, but I maintain it was a mistake by Bergy and co for letting it get to that point

To be fair if Habs really wanted him they would’ve filled a complaint to the NHL because I’m pretty sure someone can’t sign an oversheet and then not return calls, it kind of goes against the spirit of an OS. Bergevin was likely entertained by the idea of keeping him but let’s be real, KK (and his agent) seemed to want out ever since he was benched in the playoffs.

His current stats aren’t too impressive, but we know that his potential is immense. Had he stayed in familiar territory and played under Marty, I imagine that he’d be doing a lot better than he is.

  7. Ray_Pingeau

They wanted to match the offer with a longer term? Sounds like KK fucked himself.

I use to be a KK defender but there’s no doubt this worked out for us. We basically replaced him with Dach who is way better so far

Poor KK. Not literally though of course.

He’s got 2 goals in 50-something games including the playoffs.

The Canes’ management group really outsmarted themselves and tried to engage their fanbase with their trolling. It backfired spectacularly and it’s HILARIOUS.

Dodged a bullet there, we have the superior third overall in the Dachman

I mean, good; but also, if the team matches, isn’t the RFA required to accept? Am I missing something?

  12. If this is true, another potential Bergevin disaster avoided. Thank God.

Is this source reliable or is this just more Montreal media drama generation?

  14. Aka. KK already made up his mind he didn’t want to be a Montreal canadien. What a piss poor attitude.

  15. FxSpecter

Not surprised, he wanted to leave. Happy that he’s getting paid way more than he’s worth, even more happy that it isn’t us that are paying him.

MB thwarted by an unfriendly agent from making another huge blunder.

  17. Well no way Montreal was going to sign him to a 40m contract like Carolina did. So kk did very well going to Carolina
