I like Anderson and think he’d fit well in our lineup, but I don’t like: their asking price, his injury history, and his contract.

According to insiders we were interested this last off season in: Anderson, Fiala, Cat, Chyrun, Miller, Boeser. The only player we traded for? John Marino who we weren’t even rumored to be interested in even though Fitz confirmed he called Pen’s GM about a year ago and kept tabs (this was on the devils daily podcast).

Fitz has been constant in that he is only interested in hockey trades and doesn’t like trading for a player mid season as it isn’t a good situation for the player. IF and this is BIG IF he trades for Anderson it will be in the offseason.
