Man I love this team. When I was a kid I had a copy of NHL 98 and the wings were the first team to pop up. Ever since then I've been a die hard fan from cincy, and I cant wait to see another cup. Maybe it'll happen soon? Realistically not this year, but I see the playoffs being a real possibility
Refs called this game so badly. There would be an obvious call and they wouldn't say anything, but then they would call a penalty for nothing. The Zack Kassian roughing call and the Tripping call near the end of the 3rd were laughable. Felt like they were calling penalities to keep the PIMs even for both teams
I love that Ken and Mick clearly love the Wings but are not biased when it comes to admitting the other team made a great play. Going to miss them when they move on.
Kudos to the Coyotes for helping players re-establish value. Guys like Ritchie, Bjustadt,Gostisbhere. Contending teams would be wise to call and trade for some of those assets.
