  1. Nervous for tomorrows game, they need a spark and right now it’s not there at all. Kulak and Bouchard line makes me nervous 😬 🙈. Also wouldn’t mind Puli going to Bakersfield for benson instead, I like Holloways drive. Won’t happen but just a thought. Oilers wouldn’t be on Cale Makar if he was free, that’s how this team feels regarding trading rn.

  2. That second line with both Kostin and Hyman who both being aggressive on the puck and Nuge who is able to finish, I think that second line is a lot better than most people think. All three of them fight hard for the puck and Hyman and Nuge work really well together.

  3. Kostin and Janmark have earned their mini promotions. They both need time on the new lines to get in to a flow. Hopefully Broberg fine tuned his game in Bako. Campbell earned his start as you said he played well against the isle . Unfortunately the game starts at 1 am so will watch the replay. The teams needs a 60 minute complete game in both ends to win.Keep the vids rolling.

  4. Putting Draisaitl and McDavid together on the same line…. again!….. after all this time, is an admission that the rest of your forward corps is useless.

  5. The biggest issue with the second line is they can't win a faceoff if you pay them. Nuge blows at it outright. I mean I think he thinks 40% is good or something. The problem with the nuclear option is you shut down that line and the others are really weakened. Leon can anchor his own line. So can Connor. Something is still "wrong" with Leon. He's not, well, "Leon". Maybe that's part of the reason to pair Leon and Connor together. I may be wrong, I mean he's tied for second 4 points back of Connor but he just doesn't look like himself. It's like the nuances are missing, the subtle things (beyond his insane level of passing) his shots haven't been as Leon as normal. Just a feeling from what I see. Great vid as always. Take care all.

  6. I'd put kostin with McDrai for some physical presence. Janmark has earned a spot in the top lines in this team in this year.
Foegele, McLeod and Pulujarvi seems like it could be dangerous.

  7. doesn't really matter who's in net as long as the players keep playing terrible Infront of them we are gonna lose, Mcdavid, Draisaitl and nurse are in the top 15 for most giveaways…. we need the bottom 6 to start scoring and we need the leadership group and the rest of the team to start playing better defensively.

  8. They need to bring in grit this team is not going to the playoffs

  9. Don't understand why they have nurse 1st line mins. He's no way a 1st pairing d man….

  10. I like the line up. The only thing I’d do differently is swap out janmark for Holloway. Teams will have their hands full with Draisaitl and McDavid on the same line so maybe adding Holloway to that line would boost his confidence and he’d probably have more space to shine.

  11. First impression of the line up is just how defensively weak it is. The only way this lineup wins with 2 big pieces of their top 6 out is going nuclear on line 1, riding that for 23+mins and .915 or better from Campbell.

I keep finding myself saying “that’s a game they used to win”

  12. The issue with the Oilers' lineup is that they lack depth forwards. If you look at NJD's lineup, they can score from top to bottom. Sometimes I wonder if all the coaches have an issue with playing McDavid and Draistle too much in the game.

  13. Nemo will be back, but that's, to some extent, is a sign of the lack of depth. Unless Broberg is at least 5X more sound then he was, he isn't the answer. Holloway being up, is a sign of the same thing. Benson or Malone should be up over him until he's more ready. But that was obvious 10 games ago imo. Unless the Oilers put together a string of wins right away, I see Holland forced into making a deal/deals to shore things up, and that would mean bye bye to someone of high value. That doesn't leave many names (RNH would be my Bet) heh.
