Too soon to judge a turning of the corner but certainly more encouraging that earlier in the year.
I think the team is relying on Demko as usual, but they are cheating defensively for offense. But with Martin they are coming back and helping out knowing he's the back up and not expected to be as good. So keep playing Martin till it becomes a habit to work as a unit up/down the ice. Demko has not been bad as some think, its players preserving their energy for offense that's the thing. I dont know if its a turning point they always get up to play the avs

But was that really the turning point or is this just (another) roller coaster season? I see that multiple goals leads are not 'our thing 'this season… I feel very happy for Ethan Bear and happy that Horvat scores so many goals. A bit surprising: Martin seems to be more stable & confident than Demko!

Now bring the points from VEGAS and defeat the Sharks as well! Then we got four home games in a row -> A big chance for a real turning point!! Come on Canucks!!

I think effort has been noticeably better. I don't see them being out of the woods yet but the effort is there.

Marty reminds me of CuJo. He lets pucks through, but makes the key saves at key moments. It doesn't make a ton of sense, but the results are there.

I have said before that this team is an enigma. A big but though. And the but is that they are like sixth in scoring in the league. Intriguing to say the least. Still barely have a defense and will have to rely on Schenn for all their toughness being that he is a unicorn on the team. I was one who predicted big things for this team and even thought they would be as good as second in their division. I still think now they have a huge workload to even entertain thoughts of the playoffs. A smallish very soft team with barely a defense. As crazy as that is they could still do it. Make the playoffs that is and now I am pretty sure they will not reach second unless they pull a ton of horseshoes out of their butts. Has any team in the last ten years made the playoffs with over 3.00 ga average for the season? Oh I also think Garland might be the second toughest player on the team. After Schenn. Pound per pound that is. The last two games to me have been their best games so far. There is a long way to go and you never know with this team. And I also said before this team could rattle off 9-10 games in a row. I said I would gladly eat crow if we make the playoffs. C'mon Canucks make me eat crow.
OEL is a scrub and will never be convinced of anything else and we still have 5 more years of this 👍
We hope it's the beginning. As soon as they start becoming consistent and put a string of wins together then we can say that they turned the corner.

Here's my solution: If we are leading going into the third. PULL the G/T/ for the rest of the game. theyt WILL backcheck, or lost 13-3 .. If you are guessing I have never played, or coached; you are very perceptive 😵💫
