what do you guys think Barry Trotz is up to right now?

  2. ThePedMeister

I keep waiting for this team to turn a corner. Time to accept it’s not going to happen this season.

  3. DOITLIKEBRUTUS

This team is straight up bad, and anyone thinking otherwise is burying theur head in the sand. Zero chemistry, struggling to make simple tape to tape passes, running into each other in the offensive zone….hell they couldn’t even muster the strength to get a shot ATTEMPT in the final 3 minutes.

    Pathetic.

  4. Ansabch1

Letting 3 goals a game and not scoring more than 2 generally isn’t a very good strategy.

Oh I know lets play Lucic and Lewis in the top 6 some more, maybe thats gonna get the offence pumping.

  5. thuglife_7

There was zero urgency in that last 2 minutes. This team is quickly starting to look like the kings after they won their cups and sutter was on his way out.

  6. betterdayz02

Couldn’t even get out of their own zone in the last minute 💀

  7. laboufe

In classic flames fashion, we will be too good for Bedard but not good enough to achieve anything

  8. GrafNebelgeist

Really wish we could give Vladar some run support.

Another close loss. Can’t really afford to have long losing streaks any more. Better win that next game.

  9. robochobo

This group need some changes. They need more speed and skill. They also need more consistency in the lines.

Really getting hard to see this as a playoff team. They cannot perform simple breakouts, the offense has all but disintegrated, the amount of players who have just seemed to have lost confidence is astounding. Really reminds me of the weeks before Peters and Ward were told to fuck off.

I remember when Gaudreau was playing with a broken Monahan and Brett Ritchie at some point and played like crap. Well, when you put your best winger with 2 3rd line checkers it is sort of a self-fufilling prophecy.

Just boring boring boring boring hockey. Can’t wait to see Tuesday’s game in person.

Pain. Either tank or be good. Pls stop being dead average.

  12. Kadri91

This team has no identity, I miss the cardiac kids of the 2014-15 season who at least were exciting to watch and tried till the end

  13. locoenchilada

Who on this team is going to step up?

    Vladar did his part.

    Pitiful response.

Could rattle off a list of piss poor performances today.

  14. Theboofgoof

Same old Flames, and people wonder why the atmosphere at the dome isn’t fun anymore

This team has no scoring. None. Like sorry but this is not a Playoff team. We can’t outscore our problems, or score at all apparently, and our Defense is good for maybe 2 periods.

Idk what to say past that. We’re a slow, boring team with no dynamic scorers but Rosey there and no truly All-Star talent. Like look at this team and tell me who you’d send to the All-Star break. Who? Vladar and…….? This team needs a star player to ge shit moving and needed it yesterday.

I feel like so much comes down to energy and momentum. When we are fired up, the zone entries work, the pucks find the net, saved or not, and we are dangerous. When we don’t have any energy or let in a powerplay goal the zone entries die, and you get the point. I just wish they could come out every night fired up and stay fired up and we’d be way better. Doesn’t help when Sutter is going to come out at his presser imminently and say the same four things super vaguely and emotionless. So sleepy, not helping us at ALL

  17. huejackof

I need Darryl to explain in very clear terms why he refuses to play his top players in the top six, and why he refuses to change lines/adapt mid game.

Lewis and Looch don’t belong anywhere near top six. Maybe if you let the top players actually develop some chemistry for more than a couple games at the time they could give our goalies a bit more run support.

  18. Monahan88

For the love of god, PLEASE skate the puck into the zone once and awhile

  19. rogerthatjim

I’m not mad, I try to remember I have no control over this team so don’t take it personally. But my god I am just so so confused as to why this looks like a literal different team from the first 5 games. Goaltending is another conversation but we were fucking buzzing and so dangerous with the puck. Can line swaps really just be the only culprit? Can they affect it that much?

  20. LandDepreciator

I care less about losing compared to just how boring this team is to watch.

  21. jozhearvega

9-9-3 is not a terrible record but we’re like what 4-8-3 since started 5-1? That’s kind of an Oof. This season is still salvageable. I don’t think it’s a question of effort. But we seriously need some offensive chemistry. 3 goals in 3 games = nope.

  22. Dusty_Tendy_4_2_18_2

Everyone in here should get used to the idea of the Flames missing the playoffs.
