Low key turning into a wagon
Most complete game since tampa game 1. Passing and structure were amazing
This is exactly what I expected the Leafs to do when they lost their top three defenders and top two goalies for extended injury time.
Another impressive game defensively, everybody seems to be buying into the system and it’s paying off.
Marner continues his heater and hopefully the late goal and 3-point night gets Matthews going as well.
Team looks alright when Liljegren and Sandin are playing 20+ a night. Hopefully Keefe remembers this when Rielly and Brodie come back. If some of the veterans need to take a step back for the team to be better, so be it.
Not even a single shamble in marners brain. He’s playing great
Pens just looked brutal the entire game, no real chances against Kallgren. Great game, was expecting a loss given the b2b LOL.
Great road game on a back to back. Giordano and Holl are really stepping up.
That might be one of the only games this season that I can confidently say the Leafs played 60 full minutes. Usually they have some stretches they get scrambled and the other team gets a load of shots but not tonight. Just a clinical win.
Five on five forehand goal by Matthews!
Can we just pretend every month is November?
I’m glad we didn’t fire Keefe and trade the core in October
Very solid win. No scrambly nonsense, just responsible, fun play all evening.
I think this defensive lineup seems to be more compatible than when we have our top guys. Sometimes it’s more about compatibility than pure skill.
I wasn’t able to watch the game. How’d we look overall?
I know the Marner streak continues and papi scored.
Matty with the shot. Had to reward bunts’ hustle.
hear me out: rielly at LW to round out our top 6
So our Top 3 defensemen need to be our Black Aces in April 😉
Probably the best game this season. Fantastic win from the buds 👏👏
Fuck I was gonna wait until he signed a new contract with the team but I want a Bunting jersey.
Best game of the season by far.
That Bunting effort on the fourth goal was ridiculous. Fights off three penguins, falls, somehow gets the puck to the middle where Matthews is for some reason fully alone.
That shit felt good to watch.
Another game that was a joy to watch. They just played their system for the entire game, and Pittsburgh couldn’t get any momentum for more than a shift at a time. Great win.
Keefe is probably thinking “Why do we have to re-establish trust in my systems every year? Just buy in from day 1!”
Hardhat hockey lfg baby
Leafs now on pace for 110 points, which would be our 2nd best season of all time. Funny contrast to when the sky was falling one month ago. Regardless, doesn’t matter if we don’t win in the playoffs.
Maybe Justin Holl was miscast as a bottom pairing guy. Maybe he was a top pair guy all along.
Bunting really did the « Captain Price sliding the M1911 to Soap » with the puck to Matthews huh
Dominant. And didn’t lose the plot after the fluky Rakell goal.
Can we move the playoffs to November?
