10 years ago, I was very critical of the Chicago Blackhawks fans for carrying on during the national anthem, considering it disrespectful. But these days when I see all of the kneeling and protesting of the anthem and flag, I've reversed my opinion on it. I can't tell if they're cheering the anthem itself or Cornelison's bravoso singing of it. But at the end of the day, I think it's both.
You can already tell which team I root for telling by my username but I never get tired of this. It’s much louder in person than it is on tv. I’ve witnessed it many times and I just get chills every time. It’s really the perfect way to start off your night with success.
Treated myself to this live on my 50th birthday in 2019 (2/22 vs Colorado), flew from Los Angeles, landed between a really bad cold snap in Chicago (returned when I left), and I heartily recommend you see this at least once live while you still can. It’s far better than on TV. And it’s pretty freaking awesome on tv
I love this and hope the Anthem never changes as far as how the Hawks do it at the United Center. Cornelison is awesome but the tradition started before him with Wayne Messmer at the old Chicago Stadium and carried over through many years of ups and downs with the Blackhawk teams. Almost a part of Chicago history at this point

Back when the Canadian anthem wasn't PC
POWERFUL, enough said…the man puts so much emotion and energy into his rendition.👍👍👍💥
I’m a blues fan and that guy gets me absolutely fired up and patriotic.
The canadian anthem is weak compared to the American Anthem.

Imagine the balls you'd have to have to kneel when Jim sings the Stars Spangled Banner. Also, RIP Rick Rypien.
Put in national anthem and got this fucking heresy, Canada is a myth.
He does Canada better than any Canadian.
I miss patriotism in this country..thanks Democrats for dividing this nation.

You haven't experienced national anthems until you've been to the United Center

As a Canucks fan, this guy IS THE BEST, hands down.
This guy sings the best national anthem ever.
I'm Canadian and admire the job he does.

Un-fucking-real. Goosebumps. Man what a voice.
Hawks fans are the best
