  1. Buffalo's problem is just inexperience at many points.. They just need time to learn…The fan base just needs to stick with them.. The worst you could is tinker with this group especially with their position in the next draft..In time they will play whatever type of game there opponent wants and beat them at it. The personnel on this young team is as good as any in the league..Their mistakes are breakdowns in fundamentals..Breaking for the net on rushes…One too many passes..The powerplay is one giant standstill.. No movement no transitional play..Sloppy play in their own end they don't move the puck out well they seems to always lose it in the own slot causing an opponents scoring chance Oh ya hit hit hit finish checks..All said and done…. When this team figures it out watch out folks..They will be unstoppable…

  2. That goal they took away, Was BS it was in then the whistle blew! That might have changed the game for us.

  3. I wasn’t crazy about some of the turnovers in our zone as it seemed like Sabres made lots of bad passes to the New Jersey players right in high scoring areas. I think the Devils could of easily ran away with this one if it wasn’t for Anderson.

  4. Just think what the Devils could be next season if/when they add Nemec & Hughes to their defence.

  5. We played well enough, but New Jersey is just better. It was a lot more wide open than I expected, end to end. The Devils really didn't need to throw their weight around much.

  6. There was a few mistakes that Anderson made up for but the effort was there and this Devils team just looks really good right now. There getting excellent tending from both goalies (interesting to see what happens when Blackwood is fit again) I feel bad that there streak was ended in that controversial Toronto game. It gives hope to Buffalo as Jersey is marginally ahead in there rebuild and is looking like a contender. Granato should point to the Devils as a team to emulate by the youngsters. 😊

  7. Devils got lucky on a couple goals, Buffalo didn't on a couple of their chances, well played game, thoroughly enjoyed. GG to NJD

  8. Loved the physical stuff from Samuelsson, Jost and Dahlin, need to learn to keep moving their feet out there and being quicker with decision-making on puck movement, too many times they allowed NJ to smother us in our zone. Growing pains, could have been a better game, refs sure are quick on whistles when Jersey is playing. Go Sabres!

  9. Jersey's forecheck was relentless. That is the kind of play I'd love to see from the Sabres. You would think Granato would have had them ready for that.

  10. Top 5 in Offense.
Death knoll of any team in the NHL is being in the bottom in scoring.
    Youngest team in the NHL.
Sabres responded but the bounces did not go our way.
This Sabres team should be able to build on this game going forward.
Just hoping Buffalo can get above .500 by around Christmas & if so Buffalo should be in range of a WC spot the rest of the season. 👍👍👍👍👍

  11. If the Sabres cam shave off .3 to .4 on their GAA/game that should be the difference with them making the playoffs as a WC team (the Sabres are already top 5 in scoring in the NHL).

  12. Good game, they actually played very physical for them which was nice to see. Absolutely was happy with what I saw tonight despite the end result. NJ didn’t win 13 straight because they were easy to beat.

  13. Hey Wayne here's a trade for you (trade dream) . Adams should see if Tom Fitzgerald NJ GM , (yes Casey Fitzgerald's dad) would be interested in acquiring his son for Miles Wood ,the type of forward the Sabres drastically need . Not that i dont like Casey Fitzgerald , on the contrary, i think hes a perfect 7th D man , but Miles Wood would help Olofsson and Middelstadt by adding some much needed grit. Ruff would probably go BALLISTIC over the trade 🤣🤣.
Sabres started too slowly tonight and bounces didnt go their way.
Thanks for all the videos ,Wayne!

  14. Good game what happened to Matthias behind the net there that was about as bad as it got I thought we hung in there we're a step behind these guys at one point in the second I thought we could win the game I thought we were actually playing better in the second

  15. I was happy to see Buffalo put the effort in the 3rd period, but the result was about what I had expected give how structured the Devil's are. They were absolutely relentless.

  16. What a difference between a Lindy Ruff coached team and a Granto team, they are nice team to root for, lets tank for Bedard! I hope Granto uses the tape for this game as a teachhing tool for how to play winning hockey, they limit time & space and are relentless, as usual we took half of the game off and once we got going it was to late.

  17. Outcoached ….period.
Loved the kid’s effort though. Future looks good. We still need a couple Muckers

  18. early on, the Sabre's were tentative, NJ sensed it and took full advantage. We have to get over that BS!

  19. Wayne , after the first period , the Sabres looked just as good as the Devils .some tough luck for the Sabres . Enjoyed the skills of both teams.

  20. Hey I always said we should have picked lindy back up when he wanted to come back. Now we have a coach that seems like a ninny. That is true though devils are playing that system perfect and can match against anyone when they play like that

  21. It’s time to bring in veterans. I am not saying this season, but next season it is a must. We have to build around Thompson and dahlin they are too good not to. I’m tired of waiting for our 23 year old “prospects”

  22. Off subject. Mike Ramsey. 14 year buffalo sabre. 4 time all star, captain for 4 years. Gave it all to this team. Help get this guy's jersey hung in the arena. When you watch some of those games in the late 70s thru the 80s this guy did it all. Unsung hero!. Thank you Mr Ramsey! Buffalo remembers you!
