Rangers giving nothing but heartburn lately. Inexcusable undisciplined 3rd period penalties by Miller and Laffy. I knew that 4th goal was coming for EDM. At least Soupy caught a break for once.

I thought the Oilers were dead in water as well after the 2nd period. Boy, did they ever flip the script in the 3rd period. What a crazy comeback.
As a Rangers fan, I am looking forward to the draft next June. This team sucks. No sense in trying to bulk up at the deadline. They need to find a way to shed some deadweight this summer.
In these situations, one wonders how much of that was the winning team earning the comeback vs the losing team just choking.
Hey Shannon, here is a serious question that has nothing to do with this video. But what does the League/Predators do with Bridgestone arena out for a bit? What I understand there is significant water damage to just about everything. Do they turn home games into away games? Move every home he to a neutral site? Move to the Ice Bears arena in Knoxville? Repurpose the municipal auditorium (the old hockey arena in Nashville before they got an NHL team). Surely there is a contingency plan in place for something like this.

As a Ranger fan this team needs some sort of change because whatever is happening right now isn’t working. Not saying a big change, could be something like changing the lines, again, but personally not a big fan of Gallant. This year or last. Last year there were plenty of weird decisions, and now this year even more such as a second line of vesey-trocheck-goodrow

During the Lundqvist era we saw so many instinces of this iteration of the Rangers. Good one game, terrible the next to the point you never knew which version you were going to get any given night and then having a good lead going into the 3rd and deciding "Well we don't need to play the 3rd" and getting killed. Really thought we were behind those days. Evidently not.

I wouldn't have minded seeing that Oilers board. There are some serious issues. And it's not just because Kane is hurt. I had high hopes for Manson and the defence this year, but it seems there's so much chaos going on. I don't know if it's the "new" system and the players aren't buying in or too many "advisors" and the players don't know who to believe. Anyways, very happy with the win. I hope this turns it around for my Oilers but time will tell.
Hopefully this is a turning point for their season. They needed a gutsy game like this. Its also Ironic that Jay loaded up the top line to maybe get something going and that was the worst line that really didnt have much going for them until late!

I thought the loss to the Ducks was a disater and then the third period of this game happened. Completely dejected from this loss, it's like they just decided to stop playing because they were in the lead. The momentum changed and just like in so many games this season, the Rangers couldn't stop it. What the hell happened to our power play and then the penalty kill disappears too. There are leaks all over the boat now and something needs to be done about it.
I'd be very interested in workshopping some chants with you.
Nice to see Holloway get his first NHL goal and what a venue to get his first goal too!! He's the first Okotoks Oiler alum to score since Corban Knight was with the Flyers back in 2018-19. Still waiting for Jacob Bernard-Docker (JBD) to score his first NHL goal with Ottawa. Sadly, he's out for the next month with a High Ankle Sprain injury. Probably will return to Belleville after that.

This was supposed to be the year when the Rangers had completed their rebuild and become a serious contender for the cup. Instead they are wildly inconsistent and have a string of third period colapses. Maybe a Shannon video is what’s needed to turn it around?

Two goals disallowed, extremely questionable on Panarin for offside (?), the second for maybe goalie interference. These checks for margins of an inch in a game this fast are making me lose interest, it goes against what the game should be about.

Gerard Gallant seriously needs to be considered for getting fired. This is something you’d expect Toronto to do, not the rangers.

While the Oilers may have come to life in the third: it only mattered because the Rangers completely fell apart.
Two absolutely awful games in a row by the NYR. The Rangers REALLY need a bounce back underdog win against Jersey, or this will likely become a long and perilous skid.
