Can’t ever discount the mental side of sports. I saw a veteran team that really didn’t play their best tonight stick with it and get a win. I saw a young team that did play well utterly implode as soon as things got tough. Good win. Also to note: a week after Boston celebrated Bergeron’s 1000th on our ice, the Captain is close enough for the possibility of us returning the favor tomorrow night.
Showed those young whippersnappers! (Kuch seemed particularly gratified.)
This game was the epitome of Lightning Hockey, lose a 2-0 lead in the start to win it in the end.
Hockey season is the best season to start doing 100+ push-ups a day.
Records will show it was a win. And damnit it feels good either way. Good effort in the end

A lot of people in this sub love to shit all over this team when they’re not playing well, but the fact that our guys could make a comeback like that just shows you the kind of skill and experience that they have.
Moose had a rough game at times, but he came through in a big way in OT.

Why did I even tune in after we went up 2-0? Cause that’s when this insanity started. I take full responsibility and will not miss puck drop next time.
We should have lost this game, but Barfalo snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Almost turned it off at 5-3, something told me not to. Pretty pathetic effort level at times and then just enough gutty performance to grab the dub.
What a game! I’m glad Moose got that win. On to Boston!
