Just trade everyone, rip it the team down to the studs! Even if this team makes the playoffs, the Canucks won't go anywhere.
As you guys mentioned, I'm almost at the point where I'm asking myself is this team squeaking into a low seed or wildcard spot actually a good thing? I'm sure ownership won't complain about the post season revenue but what does that actually do for the team? Another season of relative mediocrity and lower draft pick slot.
If the team sneaks in its a mistake. If the get in with room to spare you have to believe they are better than perceived.

I like Dries a lot. Tanner Pearson conditioning stint to buy time. Podz and Rathbone going down is good for their confidence. They’re both too good for the A so it’s a good place to get reps and score and work on the details. Happy the Canucks are winning. How long will it last?
I hate when the Canucks have short win streaks like this, as Jeff said it puts them into the "muddy middle" or similar. This team needs a strip down, a full rebuild, and these wins distract from what is needed to be done.
they 1: needed to tank for bedard a franchise player from Van and 2: trade someone to a cup contender for a 1st pick to maximize those chances. Also Dries and Joshua have been work horses so far, keep them around
The media in Vancouver is a complete joke. Went all stupid yakking about signing Miller then last 6 weeks all goofy over Bo and Bruce. Then the President goes all stupid dumping on the coach who saved the season last year. Then to top that off signed the wrong guy first. Bo 2 years younger, heart and soul of the team and could have been signed for a lot less than now. Media all over the map. Demko has a tad better year so far. Somewhere betwen last year and the egg he laid and they are above 500% Then there was endless talk about blowing it up. You dont sign JT and then blow up the team you jackass's. The Van fan are nuts and the media is nuttier. They better hope Bo and Bruce dont tell them after making the playoffs. We don't like hanging out with stupid people and were outta here. For a year Mgt knew their was a problem with defense. There is still a problem on defense. Settle down and grow up. Mgt and media
