Fuck anyone who thinks this team is playing well under Maurice. This team looked legitimately unstoppable at certain points last year and we’re not even barely close to a playoff team right now in my honest opinion. Half the team wants to play fast and the other half are built for grit.

This team is so not making the playoffs this year.
So if I’m not mistaken, Sam Bennett takes both the critical defensive zone draws at the end of regulation and to start OT. He was 30% in the circle while Lundell was 7 of 12, is a much better defender, and a much quicker skater. Even Reinhardt was 4 of 7. What the hell is Maurice doing? Then Bennett who can’t win draws with Tkachuk and ekblad, literally all talented but probably the slowest combo you can make. Am I stupid? I feel like I’m in bizarro land.
I am done thinking this team has any chance at winning while Maurice is coaching. What a horrific coaching hire.
This team expects to lose now just how we as fans do. That’s bad when it gets engrained into your psyche. This road trip is going to be ugly. Tampa and Toronto won tonight btw.
