  1. Out chanced them. Definitely feel that's a much different game and in our favor most nights.

  2. I hope those 5 on 5 issues Lalonde has commented on are still noticeable even in a good effort like tonight.

You can put in a good effort every night while still doing things poorly. I think this team has had potential from the beginning, and I like the way they look in general terms. But there are a lot of details missing. It's why they get stuck in the defensive zone at times, they struggle to move the puck up ice efficiently, and our offensive pressure is mostly a lot of grinding on the boards for maybe one shot on goal. The guys reached another level late in the game, when they got the second goal, but that tells you something about how effective they were earlier if they were able to increase the intensity at the end.

  3. Any chance we get the full press conference post games again?

  4. We played well but a strong team like this shows how much work we have to do if we want to compete. Bertuzzi looks so out of sync with the rest of the team. I know he's a good player and the guys like him but im good with letting him go. Well have to see if things click with him the rest of the season. Bunting would be a great add if Toronto can't afford him after this season.
