Redwings should beat Buffalo on Wednesday then Play vegas very smartly & get at least get a point in ot if the things don’t win in regulation then go into Columbus on Sunday and beat them

  2. Great game honestly. Out shot them. Had more time in the offensive end. Unfortunately Husso had an amazing .920 coming into this and finally had another bad game against a highly skilled offense team. Great game wings.

  3. Looking at the jerseys at first I thought they looked stupid but As I saw them on The ice I will say they don’t look bad

  4. I feel better about this loss than I did to get a win against some of our recent foes. Two points are better than none, but I am greatly encouraged to see that they can outplay a good team. These are the games that tell you where you stand, and where you need to improve.

  5. Unlucky game but credit the Leafs.

Lalonde was pushing it starting Husso 6 times in a row (and it showed). Also it seemed a bit disrespectful to Ned

Corrections: Nylander didn’t score the 4th goal (Sundin)
Ned was 12-12 on saves not 16-16

  6. Its important to look at the opponents we've played instead of just the record. We've had one of the easiest 20 first games than any team. And here we are we play a very good Leafs team and get completely out played and I think we played well! I just hope fans dont get too excited just to be let down when we miss the playoffs. We are 2 to 3 years away from making the playoffs let alone being a cup contender. Dont drink the red Kool aid quite yet people Raymond and sieder have taken massive steps back and Larkin might not be in red next year our future is still up in the air. Sorry to be that negative fan but someone has to tell the truth.

  7. Ill say it again from your preview show of this game, Ned should have played the Arizona game. I agree Husso should have started against Toronto. Ned need some ice plus it would have been his first home start against Arizona. Husso needed some rest to gear up for this Toronto game.

  8. Something positive i was proud about, in the 3rd period Detroit pulled the goalie and they keep the pressure in O zone and didnt give up an empty net goal.

  9. Despite the loss, I was really happy with one aspect of this game. I knew Toronto was going to give us issues due to the speed they posses. Detroit has had a tough time with teams that pressure well, and in all honesty, they did a MUCH better job in dealing with that than I have seen in any other game in which they played a team that pressures well. As far as Husso's performance, I really don't find much fault in it to be honest. 8" off the ear is a hard stop to make, so is a shot placed right between the arm and chest, and a defection on a shot that was going to go over the net is also a toss up. If I criticize anything it would be that the Wings over-chased the puck and it led to defensive lapses in front of the net…..again.

  10. My old man and I were there and it seemed like almost every time a play was broken up or a shot was blocked, it was Marner doing it.

  11. Seider looked great. He’s starting to get his grove back which is great news
