Ranger fan here so no love for Islanders , but Martin went after Skinner because he is a little punk. Martin is doing his job.

The islanders look like complete bitches here. Cheap hit by Pelech hitting an otherwise engaged player, then he cross checked skinner in the mouth after a retaliatory slash from Jeff. Then Martin, who is SUPPOSED to be a tough guy, jumps the skill player. Then Ross Johnston throwing punches at downed players and grabbing rookies. They just really look pathetic here, and I am a Bruins fan who usually laughs at the Sabres. Matt Martin was a punching bag whenever he tried to fight McQuaid or Thronton. He never dared take on Lucic, and Chara just ragdolled him like the woman he is.
