Remember when MB said it was too hard to make a trade for a centre? Funny how he was able to make one in just 7 days. I love how MB pushes most of the blame on the players. Obviously, KK didn't see it the way MB does. Arrogance. You can't treat everyone the exact same. When you can't seem to develop your players, then the blame is on you.

Made the most of the situation and handled it with class! Which can't be said for the hurricanes. Was interesting when he said the trade offer was less than what the offer sheet return was. Why not up the trade offer instead of locking in kotkaniemi to absurd contract. People give bergevin a hard time but he's looking pretty good compared to the Carolina crew lol

Marc Bergevin is simply a class act. He may have the toughest job in hockey. Every move is under a microscope and dissected and critiqued to no end. If you look at his record he’s made a lot of great moves, but the haters want to dwell on his few mistakes. I hope he gets a 10 year extension.
