RIP Rypien man, I’ve never seen someone who could switch hands mid-fight as efficiently as him let alone while fighting someone who was way bigger than him. What a legend!
I was lucky enough as a Canucks fan here in Edmonton during their brutal years to get a lot of free tickets to Canucks/Oilers games at Rexall. I sat 2 rows up from the corner where he had a massive tilt with Stortini here too and the place was absolutely rocking. Very grateful to have seen Ryp play in person during those fun years.
