My Penguins and My Rangers are laden with talent ; Stars & Superstars. And yet look at the no star Devils and the no star Kraken ; they're both way better than the .500 Rangers & Devils. Pathetic !! Come on Man !
That was a brutal game by the refs. I hate to say a game was decided by the officials, but I strongly feel this one was. First of all on the overtime winner. It’s a clear penalty before the 2 on 0. Then the Carolina player puts his feet on the ice jumping the boards when Carolina is already on a 2 on 0. It’s a clear too many men call. It shouldn’t even have got to that point though. That’s an obvious penalty. Nonetheless good game canes.
Rust turns at the last second no call but pens had too many men anyway even the announcer said it. They didn’t call anything hardly which ig is better than too much. Gotta feeling this may end in the playoffs.
Good game Canes but a brutal loss. It's been said but the refs for this game were atrocious. How do you not call that board? It's literally in the center of the rink, by the players on both sides and not call that? This might be a strong candidate for dang-it of the year. A missed high stick, hook, or slash is understandable but a board? Refs just get worse every year.
just one question : what penalty would it be? – I don't see a cross-check as jarvis had one hand on his stick – Was that really boarding? The contact was initiated maybe 10 feet from the boards. – Difficult to call a check from behind has Rust turns his body at the last second in order to avoid the hit and/or get some separation.
Okay, so let get this straight…Rust interferes with Jarvis on the boards, no call…than Rust gets a love tap, falls down and looks at the ref for a call while Carolina scores. The topper and my favorite part is when Cindy complains at the refs…just like old times. Love it.
Per the rules there would not be too many men on the ice for either team. If you watch. The penguin player changed for a player not involved in the play. The player who hopped on the ice did not make contact with the puck or player. Yes the puck was close to said change but this play happens 1000 times a game and this play did not break fall under any part of rule 74.1. As for Carolina the player hopped over the boards while the carolina player was within 5 feet of the bench as per the rule and did not even put himself in the play. The player on the ice looking to change also did not play the puck or was even anywhere close to the play.
Okay, so. 1:58 – interference 2:15 – too many men for pens (even the commentator said so). Questionable hit after 2:20 – canes player jumps on while Jarvis is kept from getting to the bench but isn't involved in the play and jumps right off Mr. Dangle, I want your thoughts here

Oh boohoo pens fans, let me play a sad song for you with the world’s smallest violin.
Refs need suspended / a pay loss. Carolina fans should be embarrassed at themselves
Gotta laugh. That’s a dang-it

Brutal, absolutely brutal.

Gotta play until the play is stopped. Completely let the goalie down.
Why doesn't sportsnet post the full highlights in 60 fps :/

The whole complaining to the refs was funny
