I just cringe with the media, man they make us Canadians look stupid. Same question about the record everytime….like come on man.
Stop asking players about other players……
This team wants it badly.
Almost every interview at least one person says they've been asked that question before recently. That's because these media people only ask 5 total questions all season long and every one of them is interpersonal.
Stop asking players about other players or what they think about themselves and report on the damn games, league, and team.
As an aside, very funny to see that female reporter, whoever she was, that just popped up out of nowhere when the leafs were doing bad and was asking intentionally inflammatory and loaded questions, is seemingly nowhere to be found once things started going good. You don't even hear Steve Simmonds asking questions because he has nothing inciteful to say and comment on. He's probably MIA too.
Problem is I'm sure the players would rather take Simmonds' questions than experiencing groundhog day with every single presser. Media needs to smarten the hell up. These pressers are currently a waste of everyone's time including the film crew and us.

Enjoy seeing all these Leaf players seem so well. Come playoff time – they sure are going to be under extreme pressure to win at least one round. Just enjoying their good play now. As Leafs – Kessel, Kadri & Marner have had it pretty rough in playoffs. Too bad Mitch’s good play – wasn’t a playoff streak. Maybe this spring will be his time?

Hope the players know the fans understand what they go through with the media!! But they also keep it real when they are good or bad !! It’s disgusting how horrible the media is ask better questions, what kinda education do I need to ask stupid questions or repeat the same stupid questions? This is why this market drives players out!! I hope ownership management fix this problem protect the players but hold them accountable at the same time when they need to asked about there shit play
