  1. Underrated jersey is the rare Oilers white ‘away’ from 1996-1997. It had the navy shoulder stitching like the original style; you should check it out. It’s a shame they got rid of it. I felt the all white away like you have was a bit too plain.

  2. Current jerseys are decent. The orange stands out. That’s important to me. The copper blues aren’t bright enough and don’t stand out enough for me.

  3. I got my hands on a game worn Stoll Todd McFarlane jersey years ago and it's one of my favorites in my collection, along with my retro autographed Brodeur and autographed Marchand ASG jersey.

  4. as a long time oilers fan i agree with most of your takes! the bright orange is regrettable. i do like the current thirds however, wasn't sold until i saw them on the ice, they look sharp tho

  5. I won’t lie, the oilers all navy blue alternate looks really good on the ice even on tv it looks really nice. But I think they should go back to their royal blue

  6. The 80's jerseys are my favorites even though they did a lot of damage against the Blackhawks with them.

  7. I can't believe he missed one….back in 1996 when they moved to the copper and midnight blue, for 1 season the white jersey had both the shoulder patch and blue shoulder yoke. the following year they removed the yoke.

  8. The darker orange looks better, like the oil kings style. Always liked the dark blue and copper era too. Would prefer the blue as home, maybe make the orange the away white?

  9. I’m 3 months late to this, but the copper and navy jersey look a lot like the Minnesota twins home navy jersey. Look it up and compare.

  10. I agree with the current road white being awesome and I like the Reebok blue and Adidas orange as well. But the original 80's sweaters were the best by far.

  11. The Gear/Meteor is probably my favourite one out all of them because there's nothing quite like them in the market. My one is a CCM screen printed, non tie up collar variant. Couldn't believe that I found because they're so rare (and expensive as hell!!) but it being screen printed logo, I'll have to be very careful with it and I'll probably barely ever wear it as well. Fear the gear I say.

  12. It’s a shame they don’t use the blue jerseys as their home ones, those orange ones are so ugly. The current white ones are nice and I liked the copper colors they used in the 90s. One thing rebook did was make hockey jerseys very plain looking and why they got rid of stripping around the bottom and put them off to the sides was so annoying and their obsession with piping…I hated it so much. Rebook designs with the necklines were also ugly.

  13. 1:33 the copper and blue jerseys of the late 90s were classy, and my favourites. The current navy third jerseys have really grown on me; I think they look very sleek, and well, "oily". I never liked the MacFarlane; it just seemed to depart a step too far from anything Oilers related. I think the current orange home jerseys should be revised. Making the orange a little redder like the Reebok orange third jersey would help.

  14. In 96, didn’t the oilers have a design similar to the 80’s in the midnight blue and copper jersey when they started the rebrand? Also known as the Jersey Cujo wore after he got traded to Edmonton?

  15. Does anyone noticed that this year orange version, the logo has smaller version and large logo version?

  16. I really like the oilers jerseys I just wish they could bring back the blue and orange jerseys the one conor mcdavid wore when he got drafted

  17. They’re wearing the blue alternates this season as the main home jersey. The orange will be worn only for a few games. I heard they’re going back to the original blue and whites next season.

  18. The history of the Oilers jersey is metaphoric of the organisation performance! It went from Great to worse! I'm glad they are bringing back the royal blue jersey next season, 2022-23!

  19. This was a throwback to the old Alberta Oilers???? Lol We were always in alberta 🤪🤣🤣🤣

  20. Hey Shannon, question on the sizing. Is the Reebok orange jersey the same size cut as the current Adidas Climalite Authentic jerseys? I wear a size small in the current Adidas Climalite Authentic. Thanks a bunch.

  21. My favorite are the 97 with the copper and navy blue… with the oil derrick guy on the shoulder… I always thought the current dark blue with straight orange ….. the ones they wore this year in the playoffs……. should have had white outlining the orange….that would have been sweet.

  22. Just putting this here into perspective or I may be just talking complete nonsense. I’m 41 yrs old, kid of the 90s, prime hockey in the early-mid 2000, when I see Oilers, unnngh, reminds me of 80s hockey. The last jersey you held up, the alternate navy blueout/ hot orange trim, NOW THAT REMINDS ME OF McDavid. That jersei absolutely love. I happened to get it, 2 of of them Authentic, my name & McDavid. And I’m not even an Oilers fan.
