man what’s up with Drouin, I feel like he could be serviceable in these lines and he’s just not there. Like I’d rather see Drouin over Pitlick or Pezzetta. anyway i prefer we tank and develop rather than win out.

Slaf-Mon-BJA should realistically be our 2nd off. line, I’m assuming Dad and Army being the actual 2nd line is MSL poking them with a stick saying « c’mon, do something ». I would be shocked if the org’s main goal isn’t to raise their stock by TDL with hopes of getting a few 2nds or 3rds. Monahan has already kind of proven his worth over the first quarter of the season

That 3rd line is significantly better than the 2nd line.
Honestly, I’m pretty tired of the team trying to make Dadonov work out. We took him and Monahan as cap dump/reclamation profits. We hit a home run with Monahan and it’s ok to accept defeat with Dad, we’ve already done better than expected with those deals and got the rewards of taking on the cap. Dadonov’s not getting anything at the deadline, we need to stop trying to force him to produce to get a minimal reward. Just let his contract run out, we need to give the top line time to some of the younger players.
