  1. I'm a total bandwagon fan. I'm guilty. But you don't need to be a hockey expert to understand how undeniably powerful this team is.

    This team doesn't quit.

  2. LP reacted d ryt way, she is fukada-jpp.monster need of over drama, or over consider ations. She don't deserve *considerationsa. Lp പറഞ്ഞ പോലെ,, ജീവിതം തുടങ്ങിയല്ലേ ഉള്ളു, പഠിക്കട്ടെ.

  3. Corrections- The first Avs-Blues series was in 2001 (the series that sent the Avs to the Stanley Cup Finals against the New Jersey Devils). The Avs and Oilers just completed their 3rd series, the Avs are now 2-1 in those series — they played back to back in 1997 and 1998, Avs won in 97 and the Oilers won in 98.

  4. Someone you should talk about to a newer watcher is Toews…. He would easily be the best defenseman on most NHL teams. He's amazing in both ends of the ice. Super good defenseman. Nowhere near as flashy or talented as Makar but who is? Toews in my opinion is incredibly important for how the Avalanche play.

  5. Couple years ago I made the mistake of trying to get my buddy into hockey when the Avs were playing the Coyotes. There was no apce or real excitement to the game. As a big fan even I was starting to feel bored. So I said "Yaaa this game has been pretty lame." and he said he was wondering if he was supposed to be feeling excited about anything happening. Nope. Not at all. We never watched a game together again.

  6. Best part of this was hearing the good things about Cale “baby face” Makar. He’s got everything going for him. Makes me feel excited to realize we’re witnessing greatness being built. He’ll go down as one of if not the very best. And he’s barely out of college! I hope he peaks around 30 😂. 3 ppg 🏆🍻🍻🍻. If the avs played the way they’re playing now next season Cale will break 100 points. I could see him lead in points. Just imagine him being #1

  7. I think the avs will sign Nate for as much or more than Connor. He’s been taking 50c on the $ for the last 5? 6 years? I hope kadri will realize that Denver is him home and will pick up where Nate leaves off. Signs for 5-6m a year. Nate gets 10-12m if not 15 just to make up for what he’s done. I think making 500k a month isn’t too bad and I’m pretty sure most top nhl players would agree at that point being on the right team for them is more important

  8. I was born in 94 and grew up in Denver from 99-02. Ive been a Denver sports fan for pro sports since then when I started playing little league sports. I moved around all the time so I never got to watch the Avs and Rockies cause they were rarely on natty tv. I staryed getting heavily into hockey 3 years ago and some would say I’m bandwagon cause i never talked about hockey until then even though Ive always claimed the Avs as my hockey team since I was 6. I welcome any fans cause they might’ve had a story like mine and may just be getting into the sport. Grow the sport and welcome new fans of any team even the bandwagon ones

  9. Never been a bandwagon fan, been a huge avs fan since the inaugural season in '95, being from UK ice hockey is nowhere near the favourite sport here but that's what made the avs all so more special than any other team, even now ppl dont know who the hell I'm talking about when it comes to mack, Landy, moose, makar etc, ride or die avs, take the worst times and enjoy the best times #GoAvsGo #FindAWay

  10. Thank you so much for this episode. I’m in San Antonio. Life long broncos fan, I’m 39 so I remember becoming an Avs fan in 1996, I loved Sakic and Roy, but I’ve always been a casual fan big time. Because I subscribed to dnvr for the broncos I knew the Avs were good again and have been watching these playoffs. My buddy’s first hockey game was the 8-6 win so I got him hooked with me. Loving the run, ready to buy a Cale Makar sweater, definitely wanna watch regular season next year. Anyway the pod couldn’t have been more perfect for new fans
