I love how Samuelsson literally took Lekhonen's stick out of his hands and then threw it after MacKinnon's second goal. The Avs looked much better tonight than they did in Winnipeg. Georgiev was WAY out of position on some of those goals against though. Big test against Boston coming up!
Oof. Georgiev looked rough tonight. He was out of position on two of those goals that he should not have been out of position for. Glad we won, but man it was rough. Needed that after the drubbing we got from the Jets. I would not be shocked or upset if we lose to Boston. Boston is legit this season.
To be able to hang with the champs on a back to back tell me alot. Team is getting there just need a better goalie tandem and a lil better Defense. We really do need chykrun.
Nice bounce back for the Avs’. Nathan Mackinnon & JT Compher played HUGE last PM. The PP was on point. Scoring is up ALL over the league. 20 goals scored tonight by four teams. Kraken & Kings put up 17 the other PM. Team defense is on a milk carton, the last two mos. Avs’ & B’s should be a barn burner!
