Philly beloves two teams. Yeah, we love and cheer the Fightins and the 6ers. But this city really loves the Birds and the Flyers.

I'm so sick and tired of all this whining about the Flyers. I love this team because I'm a true fan. I see how hard these guys are working, how decimated they are with all their injuries and how hard it is to compete against teams with their stars playing, usually at their best. Every time I go to read about them all I hear is Chuck this and Chuck that. Enough with your negatively, it sucks!

"Loyalty" is a dressed up word for what they really are: "Enablers". What has happened to this franchise since Ed passed is a disgrace. Supporting this team at this point is like telling them it is okay, I will keep giving you my money anyway. Screw that, they get the cold shoulder from me until things turn around. When someone is messing up their life, it is the truly loyal friends that do what it takes to stop you from continuing down that path. The "True Fans" would allow this team to flounder in mediocrity just to avoid having to face some hard truths.
I haven't watched them since 2013. Homer ruined this team when he traded Richards and Carter and gave out ridiculous contracts.
But any Flyers fan still supporting this team should just stop watching until they get a competent front office, start building a legitimate team through the draft and a combination of trades and free agent signings.
Comcast needs to sell the team! These people dont know what their doing and worse than that…they dont care. They sell cable subscriptions. They dont do hockey. Comcast is a despicable company. The Flyers are only another item in their portfolio. What upsets me is that they used the Flyers to get what they wanted.
i don't think it's a question of loyalty. its not like the fans are selling out every game and buying tons of merchandise. if im an owner or gm i am still trying to build a contender not matter what. empty seats or full seats they still need to solve the problem. dont blame the powerless fans. this has nothing to do with loyalty. the flyers are a ship without a rudder. a sky without a star. the fans have nothing to do with that. lets talk about who is actually accountable
The Flyers had their lowest attendance last year since 1971-72, so the fanbase is definitely unhappy with the state of the team. There will always be blind loyalist stepford fans, but the Flyers fans I know are embarrassed by the team.
Haven’t watched the Flyers since 3/17/21 when Rangers won 9-0 and that pathetic stiff of a captain had NO shots

Yes they always are. It’s been a crutch on this team for 50 years or however long it’s been since this team won anything. Fans are always gonna show up no matter what, why pay good players a lot when we don’t have to, because these brainless sheep will pour in no matter what, and literally argue with other people as to why the team is good when they are in last place. Best business model in existence!!
All I know is that Missanelli wouldn't go out of his way to attack the ownership of the network he's own or the fans of a team said owners own the way these three idiots did.
