Bobrovsky is 10 mill for 7 years and is not doing any better than Campbell.
Sucks that Campbell isn't performing how we'd like, but I want to believe he will turn it around.
Campbell with an .833 Save %age this game. Skinner's numbers are falling too so it's not just on the goalies but they do have some of this. They need D. They needed it over a month ago. The forwards HAVE to suck it up and have a full game with defensive responsibilities that they fill. IF they don't do the D they need to ride the pine until they do. Right now we have 2 supposed defensive D men (Kulak, Murray) who aren't handling it. Our LD is bad. Defensively our RD is Ceci and that's it for defense, Bouch and Barrie are more forwards who sometimes defend (poorly). Sorry for the rant but honestly it's the same thing over and over and over again.
Okay so I have been a big fan of Campbell for a long time when he first came into the league he always has a struggle during a season no matter at what level he will get past it for sure it's just a when and how long type of situation. He will be good once he gets to that time, at least it's at the beginning of the year! But on-top of it the defence have been terrible especially are Norris trophy defenseman (nurse) he has been giving away the puck way to easily this season. I'm glad the Oilers are have the slump now rather then at the end they will get to the way they play eventually as well I just hope they can do it sooner then later. I wonder if they would bring in another goalie coach as well to help out campbell if that would help as weel
I was a Jack Campbell supporter, but am very frustrated with his play now. What should Edmonton do? Probably the only realistic thing is to give Skinner the starting position and reevaluate at the all star break.
