I agree, the refs need to stop being so freaking random with this specific call; we already have the other usual issues to deal with.
Every single year there's a new particular type of stupid call, coming unnecessarily out of the woodworks, and done consistently until the everyone has had enough by the end of the season. There always will be mistakes and stuff like that; it's part of the game. But why do they find a new way to shoot themselves on the foot at the beginning of every single season, I do not know!
The overall opacity regarding the job of refs in general also never helps imho.
allen did look magical. we just need to remain injury free until deadline, then its a free for all!

I'm in Vancouver but my family lives in Newfoundland and Northern Labrador. Its definitely a perk seeing habs games at 4pm out here 😛 It was great to see Allen get this win, especially with the sharks loss.

I am worried for Guhle.. I hope your injury isn't serious. I took a shot to the leg once that didn't go so well. The shot made it's way through in-between the skate and shin-pad. It hit me on the bone. I was able to walk on it but my bone was bruised and it bled into my foot. I kept playing on it. Guhle had to be helped back into the dressing room. I'll cross my fingers he'll be back to 100% next game.
