I wish the NHL would make the player and puck tracking public so we could figure out who is successful at converting entries into scoring chances. Anyways, here is the Sabres’ offense [this season](https://imgur.com/a/ulbwNVY) versus the [previous season](https://imgur.com/a/GNlIxX4). You can kinda see what Granato wants to do, play off the rush and generate shots in the danger area from cross ice pass and cut down on point shots, he just didn’t have the horses to make it work last season. Dahlin’s and Cozens’ developmental leap + immediately hitting on [Quinn, Peterka, and Power](https://imgur.com/a/PLg9EhV) (plus the top line) has given him the personnel needed to make it work (unfortunately their offense is the only thing that’s really working right now). If the Sabres can make a legitimate third scoring line and two more good defenseman, they could be really dangerous next season.
I love this about them
