Regardez comment les Canucks de Vancouver ont d’abord été récompensés par un but après que JJ Moser des Coyotes de l’Arizona ait fait tomber le filet, mais après l’examen, cela a été considéré comme un non-but.

I bet Steve is gonna be on this like white on rice next Thursday….
I think it has to be a continuous play from before the net is knocked off right?
Bad call.
If the first shot was going in then yes it should be a goal…but the first shot was saved, and the second went into the net that was knocked off….this is easy
Ah yes, you can “accidentally” fall and push the net over and the opposing scores but it doesn’t count, thanks refs
It has to be an imminent goal as in the puck is already in motion in to the net. He caught an edge and hit the net. No goal, no penalty.
this doesnt count as an imminent scoring opportunity but the jets one with hellebuycks mask off was?
So that rule only exists when it’s the leafs scoring then. Makes sense.
In inconsistency in the NHL baffles me. So if the Leafs do it. Good goal. Canucks do it. No goal?
the nhl really needs to revise the rules if they’re making this many bad calls. i really don’t see how this is even up for discussion. if this is the case, players should just “accidentally” push their nets off the moorings from now on if they think the pucks gonna go in.
Clear goal
The rule clearly states that if the defense knocks the net off, it doesn't matter if it was on purpose or not.
This will be another dang it
Sometimes the rulebook can really screw over the NHL sometimes… that net accident was completely the other team's fault whether it was on purpose or not. That was a massive scoring opportunity and the Coyotes knew it; preventing that from being a goal while only getting a single minor penalty in return is a clear benefit for them.
This rule is a joke. Get rid of it, start giving delay of game to goaltenders 2 times after knocking net off.
The refs were right. It’s a goal!
