Not a bad idea. Campbell would definitely benefit in Bakersfield and Rodrigue had a good training camp just there was no room for him in the tandem

At this point, for Jack and the Oilers, it might be good to send him down. Is there a risk he might be taken off waivers…doubt that. Do we keep playing him until he finds his groove…don’t think that’s a good idea. Best chance is to send him down, see if he can figure it out in games that aren’t costing us points.
Send him down. We have a stretch of not super difficult opponents so a good time to have skinner take a run at the starts. Cambell needs minutes on the ice to regain confidence. Worst case he gets picked up and we have an extra 5 million cap space.
I agree 100% with you on Schwartz. How many goalies, head coaches & GMs has he seen canned with the Oil? OMG, he's survived through it all, even with all the goaltending issues and revolving door.

Is it clear that he would help them… if Skinner & the guy that is pulled out of Bako are both better than him? Maybe they would rather just give another young back-up a chance to play and develop?
Problem is Pickard is hurt. Otherwise that would be a logical call up. 3- years old, NHL experience, even in the playoffs, had a good pre-season…..But Rodrigue? So 2 rookies up here with the big team? That could be almost as rsky. But they have to turn things around for Soupy somehow.
