Im so excited for this upcoming season. He had a great jump on the kid line. Im hoping he has a nice 20+ goal 50/60pt season.
Raymond, Stutzle > laf , not cause he's bad or cant get better but NY just kills prospects and their development
I’m very excited to see laf this season I think he will have career highs
Alexis LaBustiere
Alex is the next Sid the kid seriously and Stuzla and Bayfield not sure yet
He had 2 PP points all season, with Strome gone he’s going to slide into that number 1 pp unit. All his goals this year were 5×5, he’s going to have.a good year this year.
remember when this guy was supposed to be like crosby ? lol
now he's a bum who scores 10 goals a season 😭
Great video. Go NY…
Alexis LaDaigle
I feel like if he develops properly he can be comparable to Gabriel Landeskog in terms of play imo
Agreed
Staple has always tried to create rifts between players and coaches. It's like he creates a narrative then tries to justify it. I think players are aware of his interview tactics. Honestly one of the worst reporters at the athletic.
So his draft +2 season was even worse than Hughes yet nobody calls him a bust (not saying he is a bust but he is def no superstar) at best he will be landeskog with his physicality and skill + that for the team mindset. Which would be a VERY good player for any team
LGR Turk is not going to play him on his off wing he isn’t going to beat out Krides or AP for more power play Turk benched him last year for lack of conditioning he must work on that and on his speed and his compete on the boards if he can up his goals to 30 that be great Kappo and VK are going to start on the top 6 he be part of the new kid line with Will Cuyle or Brandan Othman on the third right wing hopefully we sign Mott with Goodrow and Blais on the fourth line
A comment for what it's worth. You like so many others spend way too much time telling me what you are going to tell me. Life is short. Stop wasting my time and just friggin tell me.
This issue is that he doesn't get top line minutes like these other players nor does he get PP time since the first line is pretty successful. After watching his Playoff run I am more than pleased
He had 19 goals last year but every single one was at even strength. If Gallant actually gives him powerplay time he'll easily score 25.
He has slow feet which worries me
Lafreniere and Hughes also started their careers during a pandemic. Imagine what they could have done without that added pressure.
I think with zibanejad and kreider on the 1st line he can reach the 50 point marker . Those 2 play so well with each other and their linemate whoever it may be
This next season is gonna be fun as hell
KKK
1st line or 3rd line he is going to be the type of player everyone wants as a teammate.
alexis bustfreniere
Also I am sure the pandemic didn't help Laffy… I sure hope he muster up a 60 + point season. Seems like a good kid (but who know right?) also would like to see Kakko reach at least 50 points (if healthy). To get those monkeys of their backs.
Probably a 45-50 pt. guy. Slow and steady with this kid..
Easily the player I’m most excited for next season
When he watches Stuzle and Raymond get paid 7-9 million on long term extensions after their entry level deals expire, and he gets offered 4-6 based on his stats, he might have wanted to be a bit more aggressive. Haha
