    Absolutely awful by Matheson. Boneheaded play to give them the faceoff at the end of regulation and then that careless skating resulting in the winning goal. Awful awful awful.

    Woke up with four minutes left, right in time to see the Habs up by one. That was a wild couple of minutes, not even sure I’m awake yet 😂

    Based on merit, it should be Matheson or Edmundson sitting out for a few games, not one of the rookies. Just a pathetic performance from guys that are supposed to be leaders on this team.

    I definitely have to concede Monty doesn’t look good here, but Edmundson and Matheson have been pretty bad in a lot of games and absolute dog shit here. What on earth was that defence. Absolutely awful.

    The sad thing is we even got a point, so a middling finish becomes more likely

    If Monahan is out long term the rebuild is in serious danger. Failing to get assets at the trade deadline (Monahan being our biggest chip) would be disastrous

    Between Anderson, Dadonov, Edmundson and Matheson we have some fucking bone heads on our team. Hopefully in near future we put emphasis on having players that have hockey IQ.

    Went to take a shower with 4 minutes left in the 2nd, went to bed and after a bit of internet browsing thought I’d check the score… it was 5-4. Turned on the TV and we immediately scored 2 goals… not saying i’m good luck but also the habs are 8-3 in games i’ve actually been to so who knows (ignore the fact that we lost this game as a counterargument)

    This defense is so beyond poor it’s horrifying. No way we should have lost. Monty was average. Forwards missed some great opportunities, but just stupid an awful play all night out of the defense. Entertaining but frustrating game tonight.
