This guy is an awesome observer and a splendid communicator maintaining his optimism and demeanor better than 95% of the coaches in the NHL…. John tortorella ~ who I like~ would have lost it in pointed, biting sarcasm by this point….. despite performance this team should prosper when things return to fuller health…. the defense is really so underwhelming.
Last night's loss was on Woodcroft for having a full practice on Sunday, after just finishing up the worst stretch of games they will have all season, the team was already gassed in the last 2 games before, so Sunday should have been used to recharge on-the-fly. Coaches failed the team.
Goalie doing very good but Smith would have been more helpful than Campbell so far. Bouch definitely is leaking & needs to get a clear message on mistakes.. & he is not getting it.. so needs to be pulled to review what he needs to change… or will not make it in the league. One mistake is the difference in most games played… hope the reporter can understand that.
Jay's feelin' the pressure. Not the happy go lucky guy driving the ice cream truck anymore. Looks like being an NHL coach is starting to reveal another side to him. Time will tell if players connect with the new Jay.

Love the oilers, but they are so up and down. Really inconsistent play.

Mediocre team at best. If mcdavid or draisaitl miss any amount of time, this teams sunk.
