I dont know the sentiment around here as I havent kept up the past couple years, but as someone who got interested in hockey in 2009 just in time for a dynasty, man I hope they stay. Can we get assets? Probably. But having grown up with these guys in a league where virtually nobody stays on the same team their whole career (Lundqvist…) having the two retire as Blackhawks would be worth way more to me as a fan than whatever scrub they get back

My hopes are that Kane goes somewhere for the remainder of the season, wins a cup, comes back and him and Bedard just tear up the league.
Would love Toews to stay as his faceoff skills are next level, he has lots of wisdom, and will stick up for his teammates, but unsure what that would look like.

i don’t think Kane wants to leave at all. He has said he is settled in Chicago with his family and i get the feeling he’d like to see out his career with the Hawks and go for franchise records.
I even wouldn’t be suprised if he took an under value deal to stay. Or maybe that’s wishful thinking lol
and getting rid of them before March 3? Front office really don’t want to take chances with this tank do they lol
