It’s funny because I saw Stars fans claiming Dallas played like shit. I thought they actually probably deserved to win.
I don’t feel bad because the first few years of the Matthews Era we watched many, many, many games go like this the other way. I think it’s something mature teams do, they find different ways to win games.

It didn’t feel like Toronto played that bad. Dallas being on the power play the entire second period obviously shifted the meter hard but they seemed even in the first and third.

I’m beginning to ignore the deserve to win o meter. I’ve commented on this before, but everytime I see this the leafs apparently had no right to win the game but did anyway. Tonight was a little different but this seems to be the case everytime

I don’t trust these deserve to win meters at all. We literally took a page out of world cup fever. Shut down defeñse and capitalize.

Leafs were perfectly fine 5 on 5 (2.27 – 2.05 for TOR when adjusted for score etc.) but the lopsided power play time really buried them overall. Shout out to Murrdawg.

Wow

Those numbers looked awful. And then I remembered the score and I smiled.
I like being on the other side of this.
I think I saw a 12 in there.
The background for this should just be Matt Murray smiling
Murray is a god
