Juraj effectively ended Matt Luff's season with a hugely risky hit from behind sending him into the boards head first. Really there should have been a longer suspension for Juraj like 10 games.
But the NHL does not want to label a rising star as reputable aggressor.

Wright was drafted 4th overall. Why is this a thing?
That Wright was even considered for playing time w/ Seattle speaks to his talent.
Turcotte was taken 5th overall in 2019. So far he’s earned zero points in eight games total. Wright is ahead of him, already.
Will be nice to have another rivalry like Ovi and Sid
My takeaways from this game specifically on them two,
Wright:
Wright had the goal of course but he is not ready for the NHL defensively, obviously he’s not gonna be perfect right away but he was a liability tonight, his positioning was awful and his puck watching was constant. I mean look at that replay of Josh Anderson goal, he’s the centre on the draw and he just watches the defensemen trying to cut off the winger and coasts towards the boards instead of doing anything to cover for the defensemen, as the centre in that spot it was his responsibility to get behind the defencemen when he moved up because if the winger(Slafkovsky) was able to chip it past the defensemen like the winger did, the centre (Dvorak), can grab it behind the defencemen and they would only be one guy back without Wright getting back. He had positioning mistakes like this all night.
Slafkovsky:
Slafkovsky had the better overall game but it still wasn’t a great one, The refuge plays where he tried to make a pass that just didn’t make sense or he would just skate into someone and have to dump in the puck and chase it by himself when he could’ve kept the puck and waited for a teammate to make it easier on himself. He really needs to work on his balance because there were a few times where he’s getting nugged off the puck from guys that are much smaller than him. There was definitely a few positives though, he was able to read the play which I said above where he saw that Wright didn’t cover for the defencemen so he was able to chip it past for Dvorak. He also had a good play where he could have went around the net with the puck but he decided to stay behind the neck and made a pass out front which almost went in but Evans can’t really finish.
Overall both of them need a lot of work but there are some positives.
