    Great game where character was the difference. Getting outshot and outplayed, but not out worked, there was a lot of toughness exhibited here. Lots of good looks but Husso was a wall. Great to see the 3 time Cup finalists tied and soon passed by the Wings. Congrats Stevie!

    Man, that first 35 minutes or so was some hard working Wings hockey. Gotta love it.
    Never thought I'd enjoy seeing an exciting fight for the empty net goal quite like Perron's ENG. Wow!!!

    Erne scoring an empty from 180 plus against his former team has to be icing on the cake for him. I hope the Wings resign him to a fair deal, really feels like he has come into his own as a dependable bottom six guy.

    I fckn love Jonatan berggren. I’ve followed the kid ever since he’s gotten drafted and he probably would have been up in the league sooner if he didn’t run into injuries that sidelined a lot after he was drafted. I had a good feeling about the kid when they called him up. He’s playing damn good and actually producing. And he ain’t even getting big time minutes yet. Don’t count him out for the Calder!! Hope he can make a push

    This felt like a playoff game, especially late. I thought coming into this week, this game and FLA were as must-win as you can get in December. Especially being only 2 points behind TBL and FLA right on their tail. Did not like a lot of that 3rd period the way they were playing but they held on and that's what matters in the end. Now go get the Panthers next.

    What an absolute beauty of a game. Tampa wasn't going to go away easily (they never do) and Vasilevsky made some great saves (see the one on Raymond, holy jumpin'!!) but Husso was the man last night and put the league on notice that he's coming for the Vezina. Ok maybe too early to say that haha, but right now, I see only a handful who are on the same level. He honestly deserved a shutout last night but I'll take a brilliant 4-2 win. Can't wait to see the boys in Minnesota next week!!

    i never tire of praising Husso!
    he made some great games this season and even it wasn't a shutout imo this was without a doubt his best game for the wings so far.
    40+ saved shots on goal vs Tampa is just awesome!
    the only 2 goals he allowed happened on powerplay-like situations and then every goalie has to more or less accept the inevitable …
    great to see the wings fan-base on the road, that was amazing – everywhere red jerseys and cheering for the wings.
    so sad im sitting here in cologne, germany…
    watch them live at LCA is on my bucket-list!

    Anytime Tampon Bay looses is a good time. When the Wings beat them its a GREAT TIME! Husso is a beast! Tampa tried their typical let's hurt the goalie crap and the Boys reacted well and and let them know they weren't going to put up with Tampa's goon crap.

    The first period was great, the second period was pretty even which I'm fine with, The third period was terrifying. I don't think I've ever seen the Wings allow 30 shots against in 20 minutes.
