Is it 3 assets or 4? Either way for Tkachuk I'd give them Mittlestat, Olofsson, A Chip Prospect Ryan Johnson, 2024 Top 5 protected 1st Rd pick and a 2023 2nd Rd pick. 5 Assets. Do it up Buffalo … If he would want to be here lol. He can play against his brother 5 times a year

  2. Everyone complaining about “we don’t need Kane” will be cheering so hard the second he scores his first in a Sabres sweater.

Tkachuk trade makes so much sense, we have the assets to do it too. Just doubt Adams has the balls to do it, and nobody will ever know if he would agree to a long term extension unless the trade actually happens.

  3. Tuch was definitely a Sabres fan growing up, he said as much several times. Next year would prolly line up perfect for a Kane deal as a FA. Sabres would be ready to win then. not now tho, he doesn't fit yet !

  4. I still like Kane, but I think that boat sailed unless it's for peanuts. I do not want to trade any of our prospects

  5. The “3rd line” math doesn’t work out… 32 teams, 3 players on a 1st line per team, thats 96. 67/96 on a bad Chicago Blackhawks team is still very good. Gotta remember teams just focused on Kane’s line as they did with the Eichel line, and if the remaining 9 forwards can’t get it done then your team loses most nights.

  6. Sabres finally start getting on the right track and fans want to pull Tim Murray 2.0 over a winger.

  7. Kane would ONLY make sense if the trade makes sense long term… I don't see that being a smart move unless he is CHEAP (and we know that won't happen).

  8. Dude you just said it yourself 92 at 34 yrs old! Number may slip but I bet he won’t be a 20 point guy next year!

  9. Portillo/Johnson Prospect + Picks since those 2 have a clearer path to the NHL with Calgary?

  10. I'd love Tkachuk. He's a guy that rack up points and be a pain in the ass to play against. To me, he's damn near a perfect player. But who do you trade for him? And once he's here, how's the future cap space going to look with him and Skinner on the books.

  11. Something I haven’t heard anyone say yet – Sabres aren’t trading a 1st Rd pick in the Bedard draft. Not now anyway. It’s assumed things will continue to get better. But all it takes are some goalie injuries, etc.

  12. Man I would love Tkachuk on the Sabres…….will never happen though. Outside of him not wanting to sign with Buffalo, I can't see conservative Adams trading young upcoming players….same goes for Kane.

  13. Lemme give you some numbers and ignore that Chicago had no other lines any team had to worry about. …and take so much oxygen. Allegations from a lying woman, tell the whole story.

  14. Kane to Buffalo? Never. The Pegulas don't like problems. They worked hard to rid the Sabres of problem players – Kane, ROR, Zadorov, Eichel, Reino. Kane has a history and the Pegulas don't want that headache.
