Thanks for looking at this in a realistic manner so tired of reading how Boeser is the perfect fit without taking the Cap situation into consideration.

  2. Listen guys. As much as we would love big moves like this we need to accept that this is our team for two more years. With the expectation that we can then use the space more a big move in free agency.

  3. Canucks unfortunately are my team I've been watching them since Linden got drafted 😕 Honestly Boeser should have been traded 6 years ago under the Benning era. With the cap constraints of both teams I don't see it happening with the wild, even though the Wild would be the team Boeser emotionally wants to go to. Boeser really hasn't been the problem with the Canucks, he unfortunately got slashed on the hands and had a thumb injury early so his shooting obviously was affected 🙄. I would have been content to hold onto Boeser with the Canucks IF the Canucks actually were playing hard for their teammates but for whatever reason they aren't… so clean house…do I feel like Boeser is a good fit with the Wild… honestly no I don't…not with the cap hit…

  4. It depends on the ask, I guess. Boeser appears to be about a 50 point scorer with a $6.7M cap hit and a bit injury prone. I don't see a full season to date, maybe the covid nonsense shortened season? If Dumba had multiple years left I would say do it. Now, meh, he's gone the of this season anyway. There's no one player that makes the Wild a Cup contender they need a lot more help to get there. My only concern is Kirill realizes that and wants out………………Plus, I would think VAN would get a better offer than "Dumba" he's worth about a 3rd round pick.

  5. To think people thought they’d get Ehlers, Laine or the number 10 pick for Dumba 🤣. Delusional. Dumba’s dynamic but injury prone, hot headed and inconsistent. At this point he’s worth maybe a 2nd and a B prospect. You could argue a late first if it’s from a contender

  6. Every pundit says yeah let get horvat or lets get boeser, explain why they are good…. dont mention how impossible it would be cap wise, not to mention that both of the players are over paid for 45 points a season

  7. I just laugh at all the armchair gm’s that think the wild can just magically come up with the solutions to the cap issues. Not once do they ever consider that the moves we have to make always have other extraneous variables out of our control. People think we can just trade dumba and every other team is just dying to trade for him. I like dumba as a person, and he’s an ok 3rd pair defenseman, but other teams don’t want to take other team’s garbage. Do you think they really want to rent a third line dman who is injury prone at 6million and then proceed to give away valuable assets they could very easily turn into picks and prospects?

  8. I agree, If I was Bill Guerin, I pass on Boeser. It's tempting for the short term, but I think it's going to bite them in the long term. They need to make a change somewhere, and I expect something is coming, but Boeser, isn't the right move.

  9. I'd rather see Guerin try to make a Granlund for Fiala type of trade where they trade for a guy who is under team control for a few years and hasn't established himself as a star player. He took a took a chance on Jost, and it didn't work out. But I'd want to see Dewar get more minutes with Boldy before they make any moves.

  10. For Dumba, you wait until the season plays out. There will be injuries and someone will overpay – watch. That hopefully will happen about the same time Faber gets his look. With the money situation, we need to continue to stack up picks / prospects as next years draft is supposed to be solid. This is really not going to happen without dumping players that the Wild should want to keep. Not happening especially with the way the team is starting to play. The best deals sometimes are those not made, even if Boeser would look great in green, we just don’t have enough green to make it work…
