December 4? The game wasn't played until December 6th. That game was beyond epic.
Great game, just about flawless, Husso stood on his head and Bergrenn is not getting sent back down and is quietly putting together a Calder campaign, his hockey iq is top tier.

I get some Zetterberg vibes from Berggren. His poise and patience, never panics. The way he sees the ice, he's usually a step ahead of the play.
I think we should be a little more critical of their play in the 3rd, because that isn't how you should win games even if you're an inferior team. It's not realistic or safe to allow 30 shots on goal in 20 minutes. And no team is that good, they need help to be that dominant. So as great as the win was, I do hope they look at what happened in the third and take some lessons from it. I mean, I think our 4th line had a better game than guys like Raymond, Sundqvist, Perron and Larkin.
I also think the idea that the "patience is wearing thin" for our obvious 2nd string goalie after 7 starts is crazy. He hasn't been bad. He hasn't been great. He's been okay in 8 appearances so far. The team in front of him isn't that good. I don't see what the rush is, but if there's any mental struggle going on, being this strict with him probably won't help.
So if Elmer Sloderblom comes back from injury this year, do we send him down to GR cause we know he aint taking Jonathan's spot and as much as id rather see Ernie be ah healthy scratch, he's been ok enough to be on the bottom pair
So when Zadina comes back, do we healthy scratch him or keep Austin Czarnik at 4th RW cause hate to say it, he produces more then Zadina

HOT TAKE: Czarnik should stay up a little longer. That 4th line is explosive with veleno/berg/czarnik and unless I see some regress why would we break it up? Czarnik producing better than a Zadina/Soderblom and they seem to all 3 have the chemistry. I'd even love to give that line in general more minutes, they are just so fun to watch when all together.
Hey guys, thanks for not being drones that are just doing a channel to do a channel. You guys are thorough, know your __ and pay attention to the team you cover (and others also) I'm out in BC and almost no one cares about DRW out here (but there are a few here and there) so this is good to be able to hear/see!
BTW, I think the one guy that is not getting talked about enough (if it all) is Copp. He is doing all the little things right as he was before, but now, he is doing that and getting points, He is as responsible as anyone for this success.
