The most shocking part of this story to me is that Johnny’s wife is named Meredith

I had no idea woman under the age of 50 where named Meredith anymore

Sure Johnny, and I didn’t type this message.

« It was super close » = « I was always considering walking to Free Agency »

Unless he clearly told the Flames as such, its the definition of stringing them along. Sorry Johnny.

Yeah, sure. Oh and birds don’t fly, whales don’t swim, and cheetahs don’t run.

    >for me was to play a bit closer to home, to spend a lot more time with my family, see people that I don’t get to see a lot throughout the year. And it’s been great, » Gaudreau said

Then you knew that is what you wanted, and you shoulda fuckin said something. Management could have helped find you a betrer deal than a below market contract on a do nothing go nowhere team that would have gained them some value too.

No. You knew, you just didnt want to admit it.

I really think this was a decision his wife made. Meredith sucks. I hope she had a front row seat to the Tage show last night

All my Flames homies hate Gaudreau.

I miss Johnny and I’m over it. It was fun watching him light up BC, winning the Hobey baker award and eventually making it on Flames.

Would take him over Huby any day of the week

Sure as hell does not look that way, my guy.

Even if he wasn’t sure until the end, he still strung the Flames along. They were paralyzed until he decided what he was doing and he knew that. He had weeks to figure it out.
