Absolutely the worst call I've witnessed in sports history… gosh.. I feel even more sorry for Hjalmarsson now from then, I doubt he'll get the opportunity to score as big of a goal as that again. He was deserving of having a memory like that… and it was a beaut of a shot too! But… Seabrook got it done and he still ended up a three-time cup champion… lol I wonder what happens within him when people mention it to his face though… man
Yeah the problem i have with that call was the fact that 1) it was away from the action and didn't have an affect on the puck at play and 2) the ref didn't start waving his hands till AFTER the goal was made, im glad the right team won cause if the wings won….were talking Spygate, deflategate, the no call interference call all mixed together type shit. Like fans would be throwing shit at the refs like what the browns fans did
SO LONG SEABROOK WE LOVE YOU IN CHICAGO FOREVER FOR THIS!! 😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺congrats on retirement and sending the red wings to the eastern conference in grand fashion! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The second that Seabrook goal went in…I turned off the TV, went to bed. Immediately…did not watch anything. The beginning of a new era of Red Wings hockey from 2014 til now…its been tough to watch. However…Wings fan for life. Take the good with the bad…
if the blackhawks lost that ref seriously would’ve needed bodyguards. that fuckin piece of shit should’ve never been allowed to step back on the ice again after he almost ruined an entire series and cup run with one horrible call. hope he has a miserable life. even though they won, still to this day almost a decade later my blood still boils seeing that. fuck that worthless prick.

Its good Chicago won that game because they would've rioted if they lost on that disallowed goal. And I wouldn't blame y'all. Weak ass call.

Babcock- one of the most overrated coaches in history
That seabrook goal is So electric
The last great moment in the rivalry thats now dead
Greatest comeback in Chicago sports history. Don’t @ me.
Why they separated these teams into different conferences I’ll never understand

And to think Wings fans argued that the Hawks only won because the referees were rigging it in Chicago's favor.
Easily the loudest building in the NHL
The two most exciting goals in Blackhawks history, both in a span of 5 minutes. And then add Doc Emrick's unbelievable calls.
Who’s here after Seabs retirement

Hawks won before overtime. It’s not legal the call he made. No more reffing for him.
Those were the days my friends!
Howard almost made insane save on first goal.
Call all the penalties "by the book." Well, how do you like it?
Damn this was before “blank blew a 3-1 lead” became a meme lol

What a game! I can’t believe how fast this action was, in comparison to the 21-22 regular season Blackhawks. Great goaltending by both sides, too

That was the worst disallowed goal I've even seen
