   I said it in the panthers game GDT on r/hockey that I think the reason Schief came off so standoffish about Maurice was that he probably felt a little betrayed by the way Paul left.

   Canadian markets man, they read way too much into stuff.

   Seems more like he’s annoyed with the media trying to make something out of it and just trying to treat it like a regular game as he should.
